Joggers Just Don't get it!

Gawd. Driving home tonight it finally gave me enough pause to have to write about this. Now I'm not the kind of person who doesn't respect the other guy, but Joggers - ?

If you're the jogger who insists on running next to the lane of traffic, during the rush hour, on main artery streets, in the dark - you have no business being there. I'm all about you running in the street - SIDE STREETS. I'm all about you running in the street SINGLE FILE.

Do not complain to me that cars don't respect you. We do, we just can't see you and it scares the crap out of me as I approach you. You shouldn't be there. If you must, take a different route if you need to run during rush hour.

There is snow on both sides of the road that have cut the lanes of traffic down to a minimum. There is no room for you. There are running paths off the street throught the park, which have been paid for by my tax dollars. Nice, blacktop coated, snow plowed, running paths. Use those places. Stay off the main roads you arrogant, the world owes me a living, I have rights too, joggers.

I don't want you to slip and fall into traffic and have me run over your sorry ass. You may get hurt and chances are you'll sue me. It won't be my fault. My car is bigger and heavier and, well, C'mon, Really - you shouldn't be there in the first place.
